Original vintage studio pottery set of 2 pieces designed by Richard Uhlemeyer and made in his own studio in Hanover in Germany in the 1950s. All vases are made of solid very heavy stoneware and have a unique red-brown-green coloring and texture/bronze-copper glaze. The base features the typical Uhlemeyer maker signature of the horse heads. A highly collectable and very rare piece of the Uhlemeyer collection.
