Rare large writing desk, Italy circa 1950. The desk comes from a private villa on Lake Como. Santos rosewood veneer, polished Santos rosewood top, desk body with surrounding black shellac polished edge, solid beveled organic wooden feet, solid brass feet, four drawers, each with four pan head keys, brass handles, glass shelf between the desk top. Very good top restored condition. No scratches or dents in the wood.
