A pair of "DoDo" lounge chairs designed by René Holten for Artifort, model F396. Manufactured in The Netherlands in the 1990s. Upholstered with a sturdy light beige cotton fabric. The armrests and the base are chrome-plated. In very good vintage condition, the chrome is polished and excellent. The upholstery feels like new and has been used very little. The two armchairs come from a boardroom floor in Munich.
Generally very high quality and top quality. According to the manufacturer: A clear design and an open structure give the model lightness. The seat and backrest appear to be floating.
